I am really mad about my order. I ordered Sunday morning, and the website showed in stock. NO Mention whatsoever about back ordered or other delay. I checked the website about an hour later and it showed "Sold Out" so I felt lucky to get a 3900x on launch day.
WRONG. Per a message I got yesterday from a CSRT ( after asking about it), they just sold more than they had. So I guess they just decided they would send mine when they got good and ready...which will be who knows when?
I also made the HUGE MISTAKE of using paypal since I had money on my account....of course they charged it immediately, so if/wehn I do cancel, I'll have to wait several days before getting the refund back into my account.
It is REALLY deceptive to sell items you don't have in stock ready to ship without letting customers know beforehand.
Probably the last thing I will ever purchase from Best Buy.

Just thought I would update my situation. After seeing many others either receive their 3900x from other retailers or at least find out when they were shipping I decided to cancel my order with Best Buy and ordered from another retailer which had an availability window and immedietly told me when they would ship the item (same day) after accepting my payment. Best Buy needs to step it up. Hope they do as I have been a customer for many years.

This AMD Ryzen 3900x looks incredible, so I can understand why you would all be eager to get your hands on this, and would be reaching out for an update myself if I were in your shoes. This morning, an email alert from another website told me they had it in stock, so I immediately went there and ordered it. Then cancelled my best buy order. The other place was out of stock within five minutes later. But interestingly enough....they sent me a tracking number two hourse later and my delivery date is Friday. I don't know what the BB problem is, other than the website is showing items as "in stock" and selling them.....and customers getting mad when they find out the ship date for their $500 order is "soon".
On the positive side, I got an email from PayPal within an hour of the cancellation saying I had been issued a refund.
