To whom it may concern,
I was making some updates to my account tonight and saw that a 2-step verification option existed. I thought it would be wise to add it to my account and even recieved two text verifications throughout the night when making changes to my account.
I am now not recieving a single verification text.
I can no longer sign into my account even though the login prompt claims to have sent a verification code to my phone number. I have tried hitting the resend verification code and have had no luck!
I did not save off the backup codes.. I have never had an issue with just not being sent a verification message.. I haven't lost my phone or changed phone numbers so I don't understand why this is an issue.

FYI: BestBuy is notorious for insufficient and antiquated sign-in services. Feel free to peruse their Support blogs here. Since last week, I've been unable to log in to my account to access receipts, rewards, and make online purchases. And this is the second time I've experience this along with countless others. Each time a customer posts here, their gaslit to think the issue is caused by them or asked to provide their contact info privately to their Social Media/PR to avoid more posted complaints. 9 hours has now passed and I was able to sign in successfully!
Solution is to have BestBuy support merge any duplicate accounts and give it some time to "sync up" and you should recieve your 2-Step texts again.
