At my insistance, my mother ordered a refrigerator from Best Buy, Concord Mills, rather than pay to have her broken one repaired. She paid in full - over $1000. The delivery date was confirmed and changed three times. She cancelled the order because she had to have a frig. An email was received that the amount was processed to return, yet she has never received her money. She has been transferred, on hold, and hung up on numerous times. I returned to the store to try and find out where her money was and was told they couldn't answer that question. My mom is 85 years old and on a fixed income. I feel terrible about taking her to Best Buy now. Please help us. Case# {removed per forum guidelines}

Hi, galekelly,
Welcome to the Best Buy Community forums. I'm sorry that that delivery never happened. That is a lot of money to have tied up and waiting for a refund, especially for someone on a fixed income, so we want to be sure she gets that.
Under our Privacy Policy, we are only able to assist the original purchaser in situations like this. That said, I can help provide some general information. Since this was purchased in a store, how was it paid for?
If it was by cash or a check, the money would be returned via check through the mail. Make sure she is keeping an eye on her mail to see if it comes through. It could take up to six weeks. If it doesn't, she'll need to head in to the store to speak with someone.
Sincerely,

She paid in full by check, but i was with her and gave my email and cell phone as she doesn't have those. I have been back to the store, and they would not do anything. They gave me a card with a number to call. Didn't help at all. It has been way over 6 weeks. Could you please check to see if a refund has even been processed? My name is on her checks and everything, so there shouldn't be a problem speaking with me. Thanks for anything you can find out!
