In January 2020 we bought a refrigerator and were told we needed a 6ft water line kit in order for the ice maker to work. We found out after the fridge was delivered that there was nothing for the water line to attach to and we had to have a plumber come and do a water line and the 6ft line wasn't long enough so we had to get a longer line. Bottom line is: we never should have been told to get a water line that 1) wasn't known if we needed it and 2) wasn't the right length even if we did. So then Covid-19 hit and twice we tried to take the water line back and couldn't get in. We don't live near the Best Buy we bought the fridge from so it took a while to get back there, which we did today only to be told that it had been too long and they wouldn't give me my money back. We're only talking $32.00 here but they were adamant...they would not take it back. I had the receipt and the box with the line in it was undamaged and they could clearly put it back on the shelf and sell it again. I even left it at the store, since I don't need it. I am VERY disappointed in Best Buy and will buy my appliances, computers, etc. elsewhere. I would like to attach the receipt but I don't see a place to do so. My delivery order is {removed per forum guidelines}. We spent $1165, you would think $32 was small potatoes next to that.. |

Did you buy a fridge with an ice maker or water dispenser? If so, I'm afraid I would have made the same assumption.
