purchased t-mobile gift cards from bestbuy to pay bill but was told wrong.

I went to bestbuy purchased t-mobile prepaid card to pay my t-mobile bill. I called t-mobile and they said sorry we can’t take this because it’s not to pay off your account it’s for prepaid.... I have asked the rep can I pay my Tmoblie bill with this? I don’t have prepaid or anything I have an account with t-mobile and they replied of course you can, now I am stuck with $300 worth of gift card for t-mobile that can’t be refunded or used. Please help me..... I am so stressed right now.

Hey, Alexkim3937,

Thanks for connecting with us on our forums! I totally understand how important it is to ensure that your gift cards can be used as you expect.

It does appear that the T-Mobile prepaid cards that we sell are only able to be used on prepaid plans and they do list this on the card. I do apologize if there was ant confusion around this. Generally speaking, prepaid cards are considered final sale items as per our Return & Exchange Promise and they cannot be returned. While we cannot make any specific promises, we would be happy to take a closer look at this. Would you be able to send us a Private Message with more information? Please be sure to include your Customer Service Pin (found on the receipt) as well as your full name, email address, and phone number.

Thank you, I just saw this and private messaged you regarding this, thank you.
I recently went to a store near me and they said I have to drive back to where I purchased it, which is over a hour and half min away from my current home in traffic.
