lost a customer

Dear sir You lost a sale and a long time customer. April 11 2021, I went into the Eatontown NJ store to purchase a printer. It took some time as I was comparing the features of the printers on display, I narrowed my pick to three. All the time I was there not one salesperson came around. So now l needed a sales associate, looking around the printer / computer area there wasn’t anyone around. Walk to the cell phone area there was a salesman helping a customer. Then I went to the customer service desk and a associate was standing there, he ask me if he can be of help. I told him that I’m looking at the printers and had a few questions. He told me that someone would be there in a minute, and walk away. I look at my phone and noted it was 5:50. So I walk back to the printer aisle, and waited. The store was not busy and I was the only one in that department. At 5:57 I walk out, went down the highway to Staples and purchased a printer. This and other problems I had such as. Salesman pushing a refurbished laptop when I insisted I wanted to buy new and with the Greek Squad which I didn’t complain about, has made think twice about staying a Best Buy customer.

Re: lost a customer

Thank you for joining our online community and posting about your recent experience. This is far from the service we'd expect our customers to receive when visiting their local Best Buy, and it saddens me you ended up looking elsewhere for a printer. I'd like the chance to follow up on this experience and provide any additional support you may need.

To start, please send me a private message including your full name, email, and phone number. You can find the blue option to message me to the right of my name below.

All the best,
