so i mailed a gift card (blizzard balance purchased at best buy) for valentine's day, but the postal service lost my card entirely. is there any way of cancelling the card i purchased and getting a new card or e-card number? i have the receipt available if any information off that would help. <crosses fingers> thanks in advance!

Greetings, lostcause,
Welcome to the Best Buy Forums!
Nothing says "love" quite like dungeon delving with your special someone. I'm sorry to hear that the gift card has gone missing. Is this something that you purchased in store and mailed on your own, or is it something that was ordered and shipped through Best Buy?

i purchased the physical blizzard gift card in store, put it in the envelope with the card, and then mailed it myself from the post office.

Hi, lostcause,
Thanks for clarifying. We would not have any resources that would be able to help in this specific scenario, however, if you believe the gift card has been stolen, USPS and your local law enforcement may be better able to help you with this. Best Buy will gladly assist your local law enforcement directly with any assistance that they might need during the course of their investigation.
