I want to share an experience with your store management team on the importance of explaining a sale to a customer. First of all, please explain to the customer was forms are needed to complete the sale whether a major appliance or a wireless phone sale. Don't make an assumption that the customer is either ignorant or does care about the sale. After all, this is your customer's hard earned dollars and not yours - bestbuy!
Secondly and the most importantly, the best buy sales representative does not have the authority to sign off the waiver forms on behalf of the the customer regardless i.e., waiver fees for declining a replacement parts, etc. What happened was the sales associate sign-off the waiver without letting us know. He signed off without our consent! This employee and the manager of the store should be schooled and reprimanded by Best Buy Senior Management!
The sales representative will need to take the time what the customer is signing. There are no execuses period!
Best buy management - you need to train up your employees!
