iPad invoice required

 
 
We bought an Apple iPad mini from best buy Heartland Mississauga, On at October 28th ,2013
 
Now this iPad mini has activation lock and Apple needs proof of purchase to unlock it. 
 
We physically visited two times the respective store with card which we used at the time of purchase. They tried but unable to get the invoice from system. I also talked two time cutomer service agents over phone and they just asked me to write an email.
 
How can we get this invoice?

Welcome to our community.  Being unable to access a device you own would be a particularly frustrating experience, and I regret the inconvenience this situation has clearly presented you.  As noted in our support articles, we are unable to retrieve receipt copies for purchases made more than two years ago or for purchases paid in cash or check.  While I can’t make any guarantees, I am still happy to try.
