Xbox Warranty Scam.

Purchased a Xbox series S for a Christmas gift, and I was sold on the 3 year unlimited warranty, not even 2 months later the Xbox stops working and am bounced around between customer service desk & geek squad 2 times each. Finally I’m told I have to call Microsoft and send my Xbox back to be serviced. The original sales associate told me that if “anything happens to the Xbox at all they would replace it” how could I not buy that warranty?

I feel liked I was scammed & am now searching for a way to send a message to corporate customer service. I will never step foot in Best Buy again.

While the extended warranty is designed to enhance your purchase of your new XBOX, They often suggest that you utilize the warranty on your original XBOX first as they can fix issues right away. If Microsoft is unable to fix the issue you would be allowed to use the warranty you purchased and it would be repaired that way.
