I ordered an item online, and went to pick it up at the store (San Antonio, City Base). My name was on the order, and the directions said for me to pick it up. I arrived at the store, and they would not let me pick up the order. A person named Dominguez represented himself as a store manager, but I learned he was not, told me to go away, and would not look at my phone so I could show him I placed the order and my name was on it. They had the name from the credit card I used, even though that was not the designated person. Dominuez then yelled at me in front of my six year old and other customers, calling me names, and saying he was going to cancel my order. I have been elite or elite plus since the programs began, and I have NEVER been treated like this by a Best Buy employee, much less a manager. I will modify my experience here based on how store management handles this situation.

Thanks for reaching back out to us on our forum. It's concerning to learn about the kind of interaction you had at the City Base store when picking up a recent order. While we have strict verification policies and practices in place with order pickups, we'd expect you to receive stellar service when visiting your local store. I hate to hear about the experience you had, and I'd like to learn more and follow up on this.
To start, please send me a private message including your full name, email, phone number, and order number. Were you able to eventually obtain your order? If you can include the day and time of your visit as well, that would be helpful. Also, have you had a chance to revisit or call the store regarding this interaction? You can find the blue option to message me to the right of my name below.
