Why does BB use third party delivery companies

I bought two expensive phones at a physical BB location shock it was out of stock. The salesperson said it would arrive the next day by ups although I'm not happy that it has to be shipped at least it's with a company I trust. Then I find out it's being shipped with ROADIE a third party company with ups using anyone who signs up to be a driver. To say the least my order has not been picked up yet 4 days after I was told I would have it. I'm not feeling warm and fuzzy that a private individual who is not bonded or vetted will be delivering my expensive phones will they be switched will they expertly handled how can I know how can anyone know? I feel I was misled by the sales person, I tried to contact roadie and texted to a person who could not answer even basic questions then just hung up on me. I feel BB should not use an uber to deliver products to uninformed customers.

Hey there, Mikesmith33!

Thank you so much for reaching out and joining us here on our community forum. Considering how important these new devices are, I can understand wanting to make sure it is secure while being shipped. These delays are never what we want for any of our customers.

However, I would be more than happy to investigate and properly document this for further review here at our Corporate Campus. In order to do so, kindly use the below “PrivateMessage” button on desktop to send your:

Re: Why does BB use third party delivery companies

Well to say the least best buy completely messed up my order they attempted to fix it at the local store because bb customer service in the Philippines is absolutely worthless. Problem is once a store gets an order only that store can cancel the order. There lies the problem the store is unreachable without physically goes to it. My store cancelled the delivery but failed to cancel the order so I could get the two phones locally oh yeah the sales person who talked me into 1 day delivery did not mention a store 20 minutes away had the 2 phones in stock. Needless to say since speed was the entire issue. Have two phones ship to me would not work. To add Insult to injury the order was split with one item coming from one store the other coming from across the country. The lesson learned bb has no idea how to sell and deliver in an e commerce world. I will shop accordingly.

I am very saddened to hear this was the outcome for your order. As we strive to provide a world-class experience to each of our customers, I am concerned this may not be the case here.
