Where is my gift card?

Best Buy is supposed to send me a replacement gift card for my return. I still have the fund number that customer care gave me. It’s been well over 14 business days and the gift card has not arrived yet so who can help me?

Customer Care Email?

What is the email address for Best Buy customer care? The reason I ask is because customercare@bestbuy.com no longer works.

The is no email address for US based customer care. The forums work on a first come, first serve basis and it can take 3-5 days for them to work their way to your post. If you need immediate assistance the 1-888-BestBuy (1-888-237-8289) number is your best bet.

Don’t lie to me, yes there is an email for customer care. It’s customercare@bestbuy.com and onlinesupport@bestbuy.com

Thanks for joining us at the Best Buy Community forums. I’m sorry to hear that your gift card never arrived.

 

Before moving on to that, I’d like to clarify regarding those email addresses. CustomerCare@bestbuy.com is no longer used. Online.Support@bestbuy.com is, but it is not a customer service address. Rather, it’s there for our Geek Squad Online Support teams to help out with issues with remote computer repairs.

 

Thankfully, you’ve found one of the best places to get help by signing up for an account here at the forums. Please reach out to me through a private message by using the link in my signature below this post. I’ll need your name, email address, phone number, and that case number, if you have it.

 

Gift cards can take three weeks or so to arrive, so I’m guessing it’s on its way and will be there soon. If you can send those details in, though, I’ll double check for you.

You’re wrong Kyler customercare@bestbuy.com is still used. Don’t even try to lie when you don’t know the truth. Don’t make things up!

You’ve had two current and active employees tell you that the old customer care email has been decommissioned and didn’t believe either one? One of them is a moderator here and part of the team that used to run the old email address inbox. KyleR-BBY even provided you next steps to getting your gift card issue resolved, have you done that yet?
