Thanks for the post though I'm sorry to hear about the situation you've found yourself in. As an avid TV watcher, I'd be pretty bummed out if mine broke like that.
That said, neither manufacturer warranties or Geek Squad Protection Plans on TVs typically cover physical damage if that's what has happened in this case. At this point, based on the situation you're describing, we would not have repair options through Best Buy.
