Unethical price change on tv!!!!!

I have been monitoring a Samsung 75 inch QLED Q80 series tv for the last couple of weeks.  It went from 2699.99 to 2299.00 but when it did, it became unavailable for pickup or delivery to where I live. I went into the store this past Saturday and was told it would still be on sale for a while and hopefully it will be available soon.  Suddenly today, Monday, it became available, and the price suddenly went back to 2,699.99.  As an elite member, and total tech support member, and someone who has shopped at Best Buy for years and has spent a lot of money there, I find this  totally offensive and questionable.   In fact, on Sunday (yesterday), when sale prices for the week are listed, it was still unavailable and 2,299.99.    It makes me question whether I want to continue shopping there after seeing such unethical behavior.

Thank you for joining our Community and sharing your experience with us.  It can often be frustrating when missing out on some great savings for an item you were looking to purchase, especially something like the TV it sounds like you’ve had your eye on for quite a while.  I apologize for any disappointment this experience has caused.

 

In regards to the TV it sounds like you’re referring to, it looks like this was included in the 3-day sale we ran this past weekend, which may explain why it was still listed on sale as of Sunday, but is no longer at the $2,299.99 price you initially saw.  While I can’t speak to its availability in your area, please know we’ll be unable to offer that sale price now that the 3-day sale has ended, and going forward, I recommend keeping an eye on that TV’s product page for any changes in its availability or price.  Alternatively, if you’re still in the market for a new TV, I recommend checking out our Top TV Deals page, and I’m optimistic you’ll find one that will fit your needs.

Thank you for the email but your response is way off - the price was that way I would say for at least 10 days and as soon as it was listed at 2299 it became unavailable for pickup or delivery - the day it went back up to 2699 which was Monday, it suddenly was available.  

there is no way that this was a coincidence, but awful advertising and service.  And your response is typical of a bait and switch - we don't have the one you want, but come look for another.
