UNPLEASANT AND MENACING EMPLOYEE

RECENTLY I APPLIED FOR AND RECEIVED A BEST BUY VISA CARD AND IMMEDIATELY PURCHASED A SAMSUNG QLED TV AT ONE OF YOUR STORES HERE IN SAN ANTONIO. THE WEEKEND OF THE FIRST OF MAY I WENT TO A BEST BUY WITH LESS TRAFFIC CLOSE TO OUR HOME. I WAS IN A HAPPY MODE AND EAGER TO PURCHASE A KRUEGER COFFEE POT. WHEN I WALKED INTO THE STORE, I ASKED THE INDIVIDUAL (SIC)WHERE THE COFFEE POTS WERE LOCATED WITHIN THE STORE. HE KEPT STARING AT ME AND AGAIN I REPEATED MYSELF TWO MORE TIMES, "WHERE ARE THE COFFEE POTS?" HE REPLIED," I KNOW WHAT A COFFEE POT". HE SAID I WAS BEING RUDE TO HIM. i WAS NOT. I REPLIED HE WAS BEING RUDE TO ME. HE REPLIED," GET OUT OF MY STORE" AND THEN "GET OFF MY PROPERTY" AS I DIALED 911 TO REPORT HIS BEHAVIOR TOWARDS ME. I TALKED TO OFFICER LANG, BADGE NUMBER 416 OF THE SAN ANTONIO POLICE DEPARTMENT, AND EXACTLY REPEATED WHAT HAD TRANSPIRED UPON ENTERING TO AND ASKING WHERE THE COFFEE POTS WER LOCATED. I AM A DISABLED AND RETIRED MILITARY SENIOR NON-COMMISSIONED OFFICER OF THE US AIR FORCE. I SUFFER FROM DIABETIC NEUROPATHY AND HEART DISEASE. I CAN AMBULATE FOR SHORT DISTANCES ONLY DUE TO MEDICAL CONDITIONS BEYOND MY CONTROL. I AM SAD TO POINT OUT THAT WHEN THIS INDIVIDUAL GAVE HIS SIDE OF THE STORY, HE TOLD OFFICER LANG I HAD USED PROFANE LANGUAGE IN ASKING AS TO LOCATION OF THE COFFEEPOTS. THIS STORE EMPLOYEE TOLD A BLATANT LIE AND I KNOW OF NO ONE WHO WALKS INTO A STORE USING PROFANE LANGUAGE

While I wish your visit to our forums were under more fortunate circumstances, I appreciate you taking the time to join our Community to share your experience with us.  Regardless of the reason for your visit to one of our stores, we hope our customers will have a positive experience throughout their time with us, so it’s disappointing to hear your visit to our San Antonio, TX location may not have gone as smoothly as we would have hoped.
