Best Buy Store Purchase

I  purchased an Iphone 13 Pro Max for Tmobile yesterday at my local Best Buy.  I called today to have the phone unlocked and Tmobile does not have the information/IMEI of my new device.  Does it take them a couple days to receive this info?

It sounds like they can't unlock it until it's been active for at least 40 days on the T-Mobile Network.  

Generally speaking, if you're trying to unlock a phone this quick after a phone's release it is better to buy an unlocked phone from the get go.  To prevent fraud, most carriers are going to enforce something along the lines of the stipulations in the link I provided above.

If you have a T Mobile device you may want to try Simple Mobile as its essentially an MVNO with a TMO Sim Card and it should work on your device without having to unlock it.

Prices are pretty awesome too.
