The run around about Apple Watch 4 order!

Let me start off by saying that I originally placed my order for a 44 mm Apple Watch with the pre-orders on 9/17. A store rep encouraged me to get the cheaper one and just purchase the Milanese loop. However, it was the aluminum one and I hated it! I returned it on September 22 replacing it with the gold stainless steel 44 mm watch. According to Apple‘s website the watch would ship around October 22-24. I’m still waiting! I received an email that states that it will auto cancel my order on November 21. I’ve spoken to several customer service representative and at one point was transferred eight times in a day! Horrible way to treat a customer! No one can give me an a definite answer about the
order placed over 60 days ago! I’ve been in the store I’ve called almost daily and still no resolution. I understand it’s back ordered but that should have nothing to do with an order placed so long ago. I asked to speak to a supervisor last week about my issue and was never allowed to speak to one! This will be my first Apple Watch so I was excited to receive it, however if I knew what I know now I would’ve ordered it straight through Apple and would’ve received it by now. It’s a poor execution on Best Buy‘s part if you ask me.

We are fulfilling orders in the order in which they were placed. As noted here, orders for backordered items will eventually be cancelled. There is no way to extend these orders if the system is to automatically cancel them.

 

There is no information available for these orders beyond what shows on the order page, so I’m afraid we won’t have any additional details we can share with you.
