So disappointed with the pathetic service

I went to the Best Buy outlet store here in chesterfield, mo and selected/purchased a fridge that I liked 7/28/19. It was supposed to be delivered on 7/31/19 and we got a text the night before that the delivery date has been pushed out to 8/10/19. Could not reach out to the store as it only opens on Fri/Sat/Sun. So called a local bestbuy and they said they don’t know what is going on. The lady was able to contact the outlet store manager and she was told that the power cord broke and hence the order is cancelled and will not be delivered. FRUSTRATING as I got no email or text or call saying they will refund the money.

Then a when the store opened on friday, we talked to agent and she said she will look into and get back...GUESS WHAT...never called back.

Today it is 8/9/19 and i got a text saying the fridge is now being delivered I. 8/31/19. SUPER FRUSTRATING. I came to the outlet store to see what the hell is going on. The Asst. Store Manager (named Matthew) and I talked about the issue and he took no responsibility of the extremely bad customer experience here and on top of that interrupted me all the time. Typical sales guy trying to push his narrative out without letting the customer speak. On top of that he said “we are a billion dollar company and there are a lot of moving parts so you can’t blame us for messing up your order.” WHAT????

He called the Warehouse which said the fridge is in the service center as the power cord broke during transportation and it will be fixed if you still want the item but we cannot guarantee when it will be delivered. WHAT???

He said he will follow up with the Warehouse to follow up with the Service Center to find out what can be done.

And I still don’t have the fridge. This is pathetic customer experience. And the attitude of “not my mistake/responsibility” is shocking.

So disappointed. Next time I am taking my business elsewhere.

Was the Fridge new or open box?
