As a long time Best Buy customer (Bought my plasma TV, laptops, phones, Xbox one with them), I'm very disappointed in Best Buy. I reserved my S10+ over 2 weeks ago. Now 3 days after release, I still have no phone. The store manager wasn't helpful at all (no apologies or anything), and told me reservations are fulfilled in the order they are received, which is hard to believe since I reserved it so long ago. The store received 100's of phones and I'm one of only 15 or 20 that didn't get one? So I was one of the last 15 to reserve it all the way back on Feb 23rd? I guess its possible, but seems like if this was the case, one of the employees selling me the phone would make sure to tell me the phone isn't guaranteed on the day of release. The employee was all excited and telling me, just come here on release day and get your phone! Well, that didn't happen.
It seems like a shifty practice to rope as many people into buying stuff from your store while knowing they might not be able to get you something on the day of release. My girlfriend ordered her phone from verizon the DAY BEFORE release and got her phone on release day. Seems like there wasn't a shortage of phones? Seems like a mistake on Best Buys part. At the very least a separate email should go out explaining what happened and offering some kind of compensation, especailly to a customer who has been loyal.
This is definitely the last time I reserve anything from Best Buy, and I might not do business with them again.

Same here, I'll never pre order from Best Buy again. Pre ordered on March 5th, and still haven't received my email to pick up at store. I have been so tempted to cancel the order and just get it at my local Verizon store, but I hear the earbuds that come with the pre order are awesome. The store manager had told me Saturday that they had no way of knowing when they will get a shipment. I can't believe that they have no way of tracking their shipments. Pathetic.

same thing with the ear buds for me too, but now I'm worried because the fine print says there is a limited supply of ear buds (it also says if they run out you can get a samsung gift certificate instead, but I'm dreading dealing with that now too)
