Samsung 55" TV

We purchase a TV for my daughter, Samsung 55" from the Best Buy in the city of Downey on November 11th for her birthday, brought it home installed it and it was working good. Exactly 10 days later, there was a visable round circle in the upper right side corner. When we went to best buy to rerurn it. Only 10 days after purchase, the manager told us we cannot return it because we did not have the original packaging, are you kidding me? We have the receipt. Is there any possible way we can exchange our TV? We are not asking for a refund we just want another TV. Of the same that is not damaged.
