Salesman lied about warranty on tv

I clearly asked the salesman because the t.v. was 1699. If accidental damage was cause if it would be covered he said yes. My husband is also a witness. Now I have a tv that is expensive and no Ad plan to cover it. I would not have bought the tv if i had knew. So i have to pray it does not get broken. Why the salesman would lie to me is strange due to they don't get commission. I am outraged that this is how best buy runs their business. So do not buy from them I regret ever making any purchase though them! They sweet talk you then lie and you will suffer because of it.

Half of the issue and what I want has been dealt with. I will be contacting at Corp level later on demanding the salesman to be reprimanded for his actions and false information. Besides that the refund for the full warranty is already being handled. Thank you. I just couldn't imagine the salesman lying to a customer that is without the means of purchasing another tv or other item that has been damaged. People like him give best buy a horrible name. My house plus all my family will no longer be purchasing though best buy because of all this nonsense. I took my time asking questions to be told yes when the policy is clearly no!. I will be paying my credit card off asap and changing back to Conn's home plus. They cover accidental damage on large investments they just were not close as best buy.
