I have no idea how I would react if something like what you described happened to me in a Best Buy. Needless to say, making and then carrying on a personal phone conversation while checking out a customer doesn’t fall within our expected conduct for cashiers or truly any representative no matter the line of business. When helping and interacting with our valued customers, we strive to provide exceptional service so I’d like to ensure this feedback gets to the right place so we can correct and improve for the future.
With that in mind, I do need a bit more information from you. Can you please send me a private message with your full name, phone number, email address, and a name or description of the representative who was your cashier? If you still have your printed receipt, it would also be helpful to include the customer service PIN from the bottom of that document. As you may already be aware, the “private message” button should be available in my signature below this post. I look forward to hearing back!

It looks like you did end up finding a way to send me a private message, so I’ll be replying to you there shortly.
As for not seeing the “Private Message” button, it’s my understanding that you would need to be logged into the forum to use the button in my signature. If you’re logged in and still not seeing it, an alternative option would be to click on my name hyperlink (Kayla-BBY) to the left of one of my posts for redirection to my “About” page. Once there, under the “Contact Me” section, click “Send this user a private message.”

Thanks very much for pointing that out. You're right that the option won't show up on our mobile site.
I also have an update for you on that private message. I'll be replying to your most recent message to go over that.
