I appreciate that you took the time to share your experience with us. I'm sorry to hear that the digital mixer that was recommended to you did not work out as originally expected. I can understand how that would be disappointing, especially provided the distance that you had traveled. We do our best to avoid disappointments in regards to our Return & Exchange Promise, which is why we have it posted on our receipts, at our stores, and on our website. I apologize if this information was somehow missed prior to your return visit to the store.
My understanding is that, in the event that an exception is provided to our Return & Exchange Promise, a store credit (gift card) will typically be provided. It is possible that the manager who assisted you would not have been able to provide you with a refund in a different form. I'm sorry for any disappointment that this caused you.
