Yesterday, I purchased an LG 60" TV from a local store. We took it home and opened it up, and there was this huge crack in the screen. We tried to return the TV this morning, and the store manager would not accept the return, citing the condition of the box and the styrofoam packaging. They insist there was no way it could have been damaged on their end, and we insist there was no way we could have damaged the TV.
I tried calling 1-888-BESTBUY, and the response was that they could not do anything about in-store purchases. The only suggestion I received was to try to contact the manager above the store manager, but I have no way of doing so.
What are the steps I can take to get a refund? Thank you.

Hi there, MarkBakke!
Welcome to our Best Buy Forum community!
First of all, congratulations on getting a new TV! We know a lot of thought went in to finding the perfect model to meet your unique needs, so we appreciate that you came to us for this purchase. However, I know a cracked screen was not part of the deal, so I'm glad you came to us for help.
While I can't make any guarantees as the return would be up to the store, I would like to work with their leadership on your behalf. That will allow us to explore possible options as we want you to leave with a product you're happy with. Using the blue "Private Message" option in my signature, please send over your full name, phone number, email, and the customer service pin from your receipt.
I look forward to hearing from you!
