Return left out $700

Purchased a $700 TV on no tax day in Massachusetts for a basement room I was remodeling. Purchased it to save on taxes. Put the TV aside until project was finished. Finished it up and went to set up the tv plugged it in a realized the screen was dammaged. Called best buy and they said sorry you past the date of return. I was 7 days past the date. They told me to call samsung. They were even less help. So here I sit out $700 on a TV I never used once. And Best Buy does not care.

Re: Return left out $700

Hey, tmsn2000,

That definitely sounds like a concerning experience to have when purchasing a new TV, and if this was me I'd be reaching out to see what options I might have. It is correct that our return or exchange period is 15 days from the date a customer took possession of their TV. In addition, any product being returned or exchanged with Best Buy must be in like-new condition. With all that said I would like to look deeper into this. Can you send me a private message with your name, phone number, email address, and order number? To send me a private message click on the message button in my signature.

Thanks,
