Return and price match

  • Wow I was actually excited to buy my first iPhone and I decided to go to the store and purchase it . After the purchase I realized that wow it was an expensive buy I thought to my self let me do some research I searched up on the website Best and I found out they can price match I immediately called customer service to ask them if it was possible they said it is correct they can do a price match so Without a hesitation I quickly went to a store to price match it when I got to the store they said no that they can not help me with that. I was upset but left it alone then later on that day my newest iPhone was not charging properly so I was like wow let me return it . It was within the 14 day of the return policy so I returned it , I later found out about the return policy and was upset by it because after all the damage was not my fault . I recently called and talked to the Best Buy worker and I let her know what happened she was no help she said nothing was possible and that they can not return the $35 . The customer service from the several Best Buy that I went to were horrible no one cared or helped me throughout the entire process . I constantly called customer care also and still no help . My family and I will never purchase at any Best Buy at all .

Purchasing a new device is always an exciting process and one that we enjoy making a unique experience for all of our customers. To hear that your experience at one of our stores was less than satisfactory is disappointing.


When it comes to purchasing a phone, our Return & Exchange Promise for smartphones does incur a $35 if you are within the 14 days. Anything beyond this time frame would make the device ineligible to be returned or exchanged. If the device was malfunctioning or defective and within the 14 days we would have gladly worked with you to get you a replacement. We stand by the products we sell and want to make sure our customers are happy with the products they purchase.

I also found out from a former Best Buy manager that they were able to do the price match but that the other manager did not want to do it because his store had just opened . Worse costumer service , I wish to have my $35 dollars back but no one cares. I also work in a member service desk at bjs and I know that if I was to ever give a member a bad comstumer service I would lose my job. I’ve been telling people of how terrible the experience was and they have told me good you told me that because I was going to buy a tv from there . This was a lesson learned I will share my experience through social media and also through my job . Thanks for nothing again.
