Return Denied!

I went in today to return a tablet I thought my son needed for school but soon realized that it was my mistake and he didn't need it. When I went in today to return the tablet I was Denied I only returned another soundbar that didn't work...

This doesn't make any sense it's in your policy and I can't return an item I don't need I've only EVER shopped at best buy for all my needs seeing as I'd rather keep the bigger chains around vs being stuck with Amazon in my support of this structure over Amazon's offerings but I guess that'll be changing. Thanks best buy 15 year customer gone

Many customers can find a sense of security when shopping with Best Buy due to our Return & Exchange Promise. I can understand how being denied your request to place a return would make you feel differently about shopping with us. Can you tell me a little bit more about why your return was denied? Did you receive a printed notice denying your return? Were you informed by an associate that your return was out of policy?

I was given a receipt with a number to call and I got flagged by the 3rd party systems you use to monitor returns and exchanges to see those who are abusing the systems or not. It's well within the return policy.

My thing is I understand it's to keep cost low to the consumer but there's people not defrauding the system who have to suffer at the hands of others doings and now I'm completely stuck with something I don't need and it's unfair. Also I was told that the last return I did I should have been warned that absolutely never happened. And it's a ban for a whole year. I'll have to take my money elsewhere with better understanding of the consumer needs
