Refund check never arrived - It's been 15 days

I returned a product in store on April 13, 2021 and I was told that the refund check for the amount ($1,090.36) would arrive in my mail in 15 days. Since my purchase amount was greater than $800, the store said they couldn't issue me a cash or gift card refund. 

 

Anyway, it's been 15 days now and I am yet to recieve the refund check. Can someone please tell me how to resolve the situation?

Mail checks have been taking longer because the US Postal Service is running extremely slow.  As long as your receipt shows that the return was completed to mailcheck and the address you verified during the refund process was correct, you will see your check soon.

Thanks for reaching out, and welcome to the Best Buy Forums. I can understand your concern with waiting for a check amount that high to arrive in the mail. As jdogg836 mentioned, it can take some time due to the delays with USPS as of late.

 

Mail checks sent from the store are generally received within 10-14 business days, but can take up to 6 weeks to arrive. If after that time frame has passed, you still have not gotten the check in the mail, please send me a private message with your full name, email, phone number, and customer PIN from your receipt and I can take a closer look.

Refund check never arrived. It's been 6 weeks and no response from BB customer Service or store

returned a product in store on April 13, 2021 and I was told that the refund check for the amount ($1,090.36) would arrive in my mail in 15 days. Since my purchase amount was greater than $800, the store said they couldn't issue me a cash or gift card refund. 

 

Anyway, it's been 6 weeks now and I am yet to recieve the refund check. Multiple calls and complaints to customer care and visits to store have been useless. I have not recieved a single coherent answer about what's the status of the refund. 

 

Can someone please tell me how to resolve the situation? What steps can be taken to escalate this?
