Re: Restocking fee

I am also running in to same situation where I am asked for restocking fee. This was never told to me. Moreover the camera I got was already opened! The only reason for my return was that it was opened already. Let me know how can I return it without paying restocking fee now?

Re: Restocking fee

Hi there, manojrahel,

Thank you for taking the time to visit us here on our community forums and letting us know about your purchase. I know a camera is no small purchase so I can understand wanting to get the right one for you. We charge a restocking fee for several different product categories, including DSLR cameras. You should receive a notification about this before making your purchase both online and in our store locations. While we are unable to waive this fee if your product is opened and not defective I would be glad to take a deeper look in to this. I see that you send my colleague, Allison, some more information about your purchase. Please allow me a few moments to review this and send you a private message in return. Re: Restocking fee

Yeah when you purchase it in store you sign acknowledging that there is a restocking fee if it is opened and in the online checkout it tells you as well there is one if the item is opened before you click submit to purchase...
