I am also running in to same situation where I am asked for restocking fee. This was never told to me. Moreover the camera I got was already opened! The only reason for my return was that it was opened already. Let me know how can I return it without paying restocking fee now?

You should receive a notification about this before making your purchase both online and in our store locations.
