I can definitely understand how this may raise some red flags, and would have me seeking answers as well. Our customers' privacy is of the utmost concern to us, so we take any such report seriously.
Based on the information you have shared thus far, it sounds like this would merely be an email issue. While I will need to do some further digging, my initial suspicions are that another customer with a similar email address to you may have entered their information incorrectly, mistakenly entering yours. Though it is not less frustrating, such an error indicates no malicious intent, which can quell a lot of concerns.
