I just purchased a $1200 laptop and it's missing the stylus, and 3 adaptors. Also the manual, but don't care about that. I called the store sales dept., and they said Open Box does not have to have all the parts and I should return it. It was a $90 discount, but the laptop was sold out except for the Open Box. I don't understand how the Geek Squad could certify a laptop with no Ethernet or video adaptors or stylus. I would think it would be easy for them to get the parts or offer me a bigger discount so I can purchase them. The laptop is now customized so waste of time for me, and for Best Buy when I return it.

Welcome to the Best Buy Forums!
Our Open Box program is a great way to score a great deal on new tech. I'm sorry to hear that your computer was missing some parts. We would typically expect that any missing parts or accessories would be noted on the Open Box tag and that the discount would take those missing parts into consideration. When you look at the Open Box label on the computer box, does it mention any missing parts?
