You could have stopped right after "there is no customer service" without mentioning email. Nobody EVER answers the phones at Best Buy, and the stores are running with skeleton staffs. "We're short-staffed' they say. Well fine, then hire some more people! "Nobody wants to work!" Oh? They will if you pay them what they want, which would seem like a good business decision for you. I went in today and prepared to spend over a thousand bucks on car stereo equipment, BUT there's only one person working in that whole part of the store (TV AND stereos AND car parts and and and). I patiently waited my turn as he dealt with a couple who had a thousand questions about a TV and had to think over every answer he gave before they'd let him go on. EVENTUALLY they tired of it and left the store (without buying anything of course), and it was finally my turn. Yay! But there was another couple also waiting so I told the ONE salesperson that if they had a QUICK question they could go ahead because my stereo questions might take 5 or even 10 minutes. Well, they wanted -- a TV! And so after standing there for another long time feeling like a total sucker, I just left. Have canceled my Total Tech subscription and will find someone to give my accumulated "rewards certificates" to. I can get better prices with the same lack of customer help at Amazon. So good luck. You're sinking.

Someone did call me, but instead of offering any explanations or solutions, the guy had only a ton of excuses and got very angry when I pointed that out. "Customer service" - yeah. "All you have to do is go to the area of the store where you want something, and someone will be there to help you" he said, completely ignoring everything I'd written AND subsequently said. To which I'd reply "Come in without your manager suit and badge on, and without advance notice, and I'll make the popcorn and we'll watch you 'get help'."
