Whenever possible, I prefer to purchase open-box merchandise. That is a great way to save on new technology. With some exceptions, most products still include a warranty, which is also reassuring. I understand you recently purchased an open-box television, and I’d be happy to answer any questions you may have.
When products go on clearance, and all remaining box stock has been sold, displays are often sold as open-box. It is rare those items would be marked as being in excellent condition, as they are often missing the original parts, accessories, or the original box. While suitable replacements for these items may be available, that information should be disclosed, at the time of the purchase.
