Re: Discrimination

[ Edited ]

Mr. {removed per forum guidelines} the manager at the Hoover Al. location showed a form a racism. I will never forget how he made me feel by telling me that I had to make an appointment for the geek squad while another persons which was white was able to talk to the geek squad. He even went back to the back and told the geek squad representative not to help me after she said she would. I filing a complaint with the better business bureau. I bought my computer there but I will not go there anymore while he is the manager. This happened  Monday morning at 10:25 - 10:35 December 23rd. Please investigate.

Re: Discrimination

ChristopherBooker,

Welcome to our community. There is never a time when it is appropriate for our store representatives or managers to be anything but respectful of you and our other customers and I am very sorry to hear that you've had such an experience at our Hoover location.

Nowadays, Geek Squad consultations and services are available in our stores by appointment as I understand. Were you offered assistance in scheduling an appointment for a convenient time?

You mentioned that a Geek Squad Agent was prepared to assist you. How did the manager become involved during your working with Geek Squad? Were you offered an explanation for his actions?

I look forward to hearing from you.

Re: Discrimination

Playing the race card I see. You have to make an appointment because they’re busy. Perhaps the agent recognized the other client who was previously being helped or had an appointment.
