Purchased store on 10/30/2022 in store, but extended holiday return not applying?

Hello.

 

I purchased a fitness tracker (pixel watch) from Best Buy in store on 10/30/2022. however, on my bestbuy.com account, it says that it is "returnable through Nov 13, 2022." However, I was told in the store that it qualifies for a extended return policy through January of 2023 on any purchases made after October 24, 2022.

 

What's going on? Is this a glitch or was I lied to?
