Hello,
I had purchased an iPad 2 in Jan 2014 from Best Buy store in Paramus, New Jersey. I have a copy of the receipt for this purchase.
The iPad 2 needs to be reactivated. Apple Customer Service requires proof of purchase documentation that also shows the IMEI number and serial number on it as well.
Can you please help?

The receipt from 2014 should have the serial number, I belive on the 2nd line of the iPad line item in question. Depending on how it was initially activated, it is possible that the IMEI was not captured. If it was not captured during an in-store activation and is not on the receipt, Best Buy would not have that data.

Correction: This was a wifi iPad so no IMEI number. It has just a serial number on the back.
This serail number is not on the receipt. Apple is asking for some documentation that can tie the serial number to the purchase. Can you please assist?

If the receipt does not contain a serial number, there would be no record of it on our end either.
