Promised rebate never came &wrong phone number

I am appalled by the disdainful treatment I received from the Best Buy at East Brunswick NJ.
I have been caretaking at my mother-in-law and at home for my spouse & needed to have a smartphone and internet capabilities.I made the mistake of telling the sales associate this is my first time buying a computer and need help. Five different associates, four hours and $4,500 later this is part of what happened.
1. Was told Verizon Wireless had a special promotion: Buy one IPhone 12 pro max get one free with no connection fee,$60/line, unlimited call and data, and I could keep my T-mobile phone number. All I had to do was pay for both phones in advance in full and I would be rebated $1,100 later.
Result: Two IPhone 12 pro max $2200, $80 in connection fees, $100/line and two new phone numbers, one of which was already registered to someone else’s name! No T-mobile number.
2. IPad Pro 12.9 inch (4th generation) not in stock. Will call when ready to pick up in store with magic keyboard, router and various other accessories.
Result: My neighbor found the IPad package outside my door while I was caretaking at my mother-in-law. No router, no magic keyboard!
What can I do after this egregious behavior? I’m still getting dozens of junk calls and messages for the wrong phone number and attacked by malware. Is there any restitution? Can I retrieve my own phone number back?!
