Best Buy Store Purchase

So I was approved for just over $2K to use, I know on Best Buy's website you cannot do split payments. The tv I am looking at is $2,300, would I be able to come in the store and do a split payment? Say pay $300 in cash or gift card and the rest on my lease?

Progressive Leasing is not a credit card so I am not sure if this can happen or not. I think the whole amount needs to the financed.

I know in store you can split a payment, but it has to be cash , GC, Major Credit Card or the Best Buy card. Did you not qualify for the Best Buy in house card ? It seems like a better buy with good no interest financing or big time points on your purchases.

I didn't try for the store card, something I should probably look at. I might have to give PL a call when their open to see what can and cannot be done in the store.

Just wanted to let anybody else know, I spoke with PL, you can't use split payment in the store, the lease has to cover the entire amount of the purchase before tax.

I know that some banks give short-term loans for small amounts. Do you think that's possible with a mortgage for buying a house?
