Not sure if I will be of help, but I've noticed BB is using a lot of excuses lately to try to get out of that price match, or even their return policy (a story for another time). I had something that I bought with a birthday coupon. It was around $450, and the coupon brought it down to $405. Then the very next day, they had the same item on sale for $320, I requested a price match, and they first said I couldn't get it because I used a coupon, even though I wasn't asking them to apply it to the sale price or anything, just bring the price to whatever the discounted price was. I simply said "sure no problem, I will just go ahead and order one now with their free next day shipping, and then return the first one", and surprisingly, it worked this time. They quickly asked me to hold, and came back two minutes later telling me they did the price match.
It used to be so easy with them. Call or chat, show a new price. Done.
Now it feels like you have to prove your case and argue with someone just to get what they voluntarily offer.

Welcome to our Best Buy Support forums! One of the biggest concerns with making a large purchase, especially this time of year, is what happens if the item goes on sale after the purchase. With our Price Match Guarantee, that should reduce that concern, but I can understand being denied due to the free trial that you received would not be a welcome situation.
Generally, items that are part of a bundle offer or that include a gift with purchase, are excluded from being able to be price matched, but I'd be happy to take a look at your purchase with you, to see what options there may be available. Could you please send me a private message with your full name, phone number, email address, and either your online order number or the Customer Service Pin Number from your store purchase receipt? To send me the message, you can use the button in my signature below.
