Price match after purchase and Chat Operator

After buying a chromebook at a best buy store, I saw that the chromebook on sale $200less. I did a chat session Case ID {removed per forum guidelines} and was told that he would refund that amount to me and i would get a email soon. it would take 7 to 10 days to get the refund. So i did not return the item. 10 days later i did not get any email from anyone nor was the refund given to me. Now it was to late to return the chromebook. So i did another chat session Case Id {removed per forum guidelines} i was then told the the price match was told it was declined by our team. later he told me that it Our team hasn't processed it yet. " I have forwarded this issue to our concerned team, our team will check and process refund for you". I would recieve a email soon. I didnot get any emails from anyone ever. once again i was told "Please wait 24-48 hours, our team will check and help you with refund". no refund no emails. If the 1st chat operator would have told me that the price match would be declined i would have returned it and then got it for sale price. This is not right. one person saids one thing that someone else something else. I hope this helps me get the sale price

From my understanding if it was a store purchase , the actual store can handle it pretty quick just go to the customer service desk and bring your receipt.

Welcome to our forums!  Making sure you’re keeping an eye on the sale price of your purchases during your return/exchange period is a great way to make sure you’re not missing out on any sales, and utilizing our Price Match Guarantee to get as much in savings as possible, so I can certainly understand wanting to make sure your price match request is processed as soon as possible.
