Hi, I purchased in-store with a price match, but a week later I go back to the same store and the item is on sale for even lower than the original price match. I wait in line at customer service to get a price match only to be told that a price match can't be done for the new lower price? Is this actually the policy? Why can't we get the best price? It is still within the exchange period so I should just return the item then buy a new one instead?

Good afternoon, ant205,
Welcome to our forums! Our Price Match Guarantee is a great way to save some money on your purchases with us, and I’m glad you were able to utilize it when you were first picking up this item with us! As it sounds like you’re aware, if your purchase does qualify for a price match by meeting the terms of our Price Match Guarantee, your local Best Buy store should be able to assist you in getting your price match processed at the time of purchase.
With that said, one price match per identical item, per customer, at the current pre-tax price available to all customers is allowed, meaning your local Best Buy store was correct when they mentioned we’ll be unable to offer you another price match for your particular purchase. I realize this may not have been the answer you were hoping for, and I regret any further disappointment this news may bring.
If you have any other questions regarding the terms of our Price Match Guarantee, you’ll find more information here.
