Price Match Complaint - Poor Customer Service

I got a deal with Samsung for a 65" 8K SmartTV, but because I was greatly mishandled by customer service, I cancelled the order before it was delivered. Took some doing, but I got it done. I come over to Best Buy, where I purchased my 55" Samsung, and customer service wasn't much better. I told them about my deal, have all the corespondence related to it, but they couldn't get on Samsung and see my chats or shopping cart. I'm not giving them my password and is unacceptable for them to even ask me for it. I have everything in PDF files on my computer.  I got a promotion on top of a promotion, and Best Buy tells me they can't do the same?  Hogwash!  They can do anything they want to do; none of this is written in stone.

 

I could tell this guy was going to exclude me without cause, because his attitude stunk. I asked for a supervisor, but he probably passed me to his co-worker. You can't verify those things these days. All I can say is that customer service reps are getting more & more rude, and I could've purchased the TV without a Price Match. The way they are treating us over here is making me not want to do business with monopolies like Best Buy or Samsung. This is a 1st world country, not 3rd world, and you need to return 1st level support to the U.S.  People in other countries have a different culture and they do not empathize with Americans. They'd rather Best Buy lose business; they could care less.  So, who does?

I don't under stand the complaint. It's in the price match policy that the store will need to verify that the price is available to everyone (you shouldn't need an account to get it) and that it's in stock, and not a discontinued or limited supply item at the time of purchase. (They can't use prior saved information)

Verify it how? To get in my chat or into my account on Samsung? You must be crazy. No, they had to verify it with the documents I downloaded. How else were they going to do it?

What is important to note here is how rude reps are these days, how they didn't have to waste my time & pass me to people who weren't supervisors, and Best Buy isn't the only ones doing this at the moment. I've been on a wild shopping spree, and it's happening everywhere that they are using foreigners (typically from India) to do their bidding.

 

Like I said, I don't have to buy anything from this place, and I won't. Why? Because of snarky responses like the one you are providing, and I'm a 64-year-old man. I don't have to tolerate disrespect from young pukes located across seas. THAT is the complaint. I can take my business elsewhere, and I came here because I have been buying products from Best Buy for decades. Everybody who mans the front-lines of products should take lessons in etiquette & manners.
