Pre order S10 in feb 22 experience

I am excited to get my new phone in march 8, buy one get one free and i ordered 2 Galaxy S10+.I had notification that one phone came in at store in beaumont Ca. on release date march 8 and ready for pick up.I went to the store and waiting for about an hour..Now, when its my turn, the sales associate said "I can't release your order because i need your trade in phone"What!! I explain to them that i will give the phone later because my wife is at work at the moment..I went to verizon store same day and i am surprise that he told me" You can drop off your trade in phone within 30days"and All the s10 phone are available..I went back to best buy store and I told them about verizon deal, He walked out and dont even talk to his manageron whats going on..I ended up cancel my order and im upset..horrible associate in best buy beaumont Ca. I completed my order in verizon store with no hazzle even my note4 trade in got me 200 off.<br>.

Thanks so much for taking the time to let us know about your experience at our Beaumont store. It sounds like he may have been thinking that you wanted to take advantage of the Best Buy trade-in promotion, which had a bonus attached for those customers that were able to take advantage of it. The Best Buy Trade-In promotion did require the phone be traded in on that day.  Nevertheless, he should have taken the time to understand and not jumped to any conclusions.

Thanks for the reply. I was really surprised on how worst Best Buy Beaumont CA handled this simple customer service transaction. They should be training their sales associates to be customer centered by taking time explained and understand what their customers expected from them according to their online choices and selections . I have been a customer on that branch for almost 10 years, yet it was only last March 8 that I was treated the worst.
