Poor Customer Service Academy Blvd Colorado Springs

Long time Best Buy Member and Elite Status member . I have never written like this before but after the last two customer service interactions I have had I am reconsidering ever spending another dime with you ever again. First, I bought an oven and when it was supposed to be installed it jutted out and the installer said “ what do you want me to do about it?” I just assumed it was a third party person sent to deliver and having never had a bad experience with Best Buy I just chalked it up to the installer being poor.

I received a Google Home Hub and google mini as a gift from my corporate office. I already have a smart house and no need for them so I thought I would see about exchanging them today around 1030 am at the BB on Academy Blvd in Colorado Springs today. I waited in line and talked to a nice lady named Cathy in Customer Service and explained the situation. She said she would need a managers approval. She called over the MOD ( sorry I didn’t catch his name) explained the situation and he said do I have the phone number of the person who bought it. I said I have no idea as it was bought at my corporate office in Kansas City. He said well there is nothing I can do without a gift receipt. But he was quite frankly condensing and acted like it was not his problem. I understand if this is the company or store policy but acting like he did was a complete turn off. He could have taken the time to explain or even speak to me like I was the customer not a bother. It left a sour taste in my mouth. This coupled with the previous experience has me rethinking shopping with you ever again

I actually have a Google Home in every major room of my house. I totally understand why you would not need any more! Our Return & Exchange Promise does state reimbursements on returns lacking proof of purchase may be denied or limited, and state sales tax and fees will not be reimbursed.
