Order pickup in store

So I ordered an item for store pickup in
410 State Route 10
East Hanover, NJ 07936 Store
I got the confirmation of my order and i was waiting to get a confirmation that is ready for pickup. Two hours past and still no pickup ready confirmation. So it was going to close soon and decided to go to the store to get the order. Went inside they checked the order number and told me to wait because it’s not ready. Waited for one hour and the say that don’t have the item. Instead to tell me right away i had to wait 1 hour just to let me know that they dont have the item. And when I started to ask why I cannot pickup and why does it says that im picking up today the manager without my agreement change the order to ship to home and i got an email that it say that I agreed to be shipped to home plus she was rude after i told her why u made me wait for an hour just to let me know that I cannot pickup. I had 35 minutes driving to the store and 35 minutes back and an hour waiting over there in the store. Plus rude and changing the order without my approval. Just waisted my 2 and something hours for nothing. Im an elite plus member and spend a lot of money in best buy but not any more. I do shop on Amazon too but now hallo Amazon and good buy best buy 😁. U just lost a costumer of ur bad managers that u employe who are rude to customers even when they know that they are wrong. Anyway Amazon is pushing u little by little and when it closes u going to see that every customer is important and should be treated with respect

Welcome to the forum, and thank you for choosing to shop with us! Ordering online for Store Pickup, especially if the item is in stock, is typically a great way to get products and fast! It sounds like your experience was anything but the convenient one we hope for our customers to have. 

 

Usually, Store Pickup orders are fulfilled within an hour or so of the order being placed when the item is in stock. As orders may take a bit longer to process or be fulfilled, we always recommend customers wait to receive the email notice that the order is ready to be picked up. I understand you provided plenty of time for the order to be fulfilled, and at that point I would have been seeking information about my order as well. 

With that said, it is concerning that your order may have been modified to shipping without your agreement, and if you encountered any rudeness along the way.
