Open-box items are a great way to get a good deal, so I'm glad you found one that met your needs. That said, it's discouraging to hear your Price Match request didn't go as planned.
It's always our goal to provide the best level of customer service we can for our customers, so it's disheartening that wasn't reflected in your latest interaction. While we always try keep our customers happy, our Price Match Guarantee does mention that open-box items would not qualify for a Price Match under our policy. That said, we would expect for your request to be handled in a professional manner even if it is not something we can make work.
