14 hours of my time wasted over the course of four days trying to resolve this mess! What are 14 hours worth to you? This is disgraceful business practice.
Im writing in regard to a purchase that has gone completely wrong and after 14+ hours on the phone with "customer service" the problem is still not resolved. I have been hung up on, disconnected, endured chickens, dogs and screaming children as background noise trying to resolve this. In between being disconnected time and again I have had to explain this whole saga at least two dozen times only to be sent back to 1-800 best buy or the broken chat feature. After all the phone calls, disputing the order and having some credits applied to my bill - to date nobody has been able to make my orignal purchase correct and provide the money back to my account.
As my lesson learened from this mess -to my best understanding when an item is backordered that item is cancelled-with no notification to me. The "helpful" customer service team does not have the ability to fix the problem and make corrections to this order as it was. As a result of said cancelation my purchase discount of 10% was removed since BB cancelled one item. They were happy to help order the item again assuring me it would be just as before however all items purchased were at full price and did not apply my sale prices back as agreed from my initial purchase with package discount.
I purchased, BB cancelled an item and didnt notify me, charged me monthly interest on a re-order BB executed incorrectly, and finally wont honor the original package bundled appliance sale price. The sale price was misrepresented due to a BB process issue and my sale price has not been honored to date. This started as a $1500 error and I am still awaiting my sale price credit of appx $317 USD.
With unsavory business practices such as these it fringes the vicintiy of bait and switch or perhaps fraud.
After all of my time, efforts, and begging to escalate this matter to management with no resolution I ask-Who at best buy cares about how you pulled a price bait and switch and who can help me fix this?
Does anyone at best buy care?
