Northgate experience

I'd like to talk about my positive experience at the Northgate store in Seattle, WA.  #1537.


I called them at around 3:30 PM on a Thursday, and Francisco picked up the phone. (I didn't have to wait on hold at all!) I wanted to buy a game that has been out of stock for over two weeks everywhere. Online, in-person, I even checked stores on the East Coast last week while I was on vacation. No dice. The game isn't anywhere


Francisco was able to open my account, and somehow find me a copy of the game! He sent me a custom invoice that went through in a matter of minutes. I couldn't have done this by myself on the customer-facing website! He found a copy of the game that I've been trying to preorder/backorder since the second week of February.


He was polite and knowledgeable about the purchasing procedure, and I felt treated well as a customer. Furthermore, I enjoyed this interaction because a personal invoice feels more exclusive than buying off of Amazon. I'm definitely going to keep making my purchases at this Best Buy if all the Northgate employees are as great as Francisco.
