No refund on warranty

I took in my fitbit almost 2 weeks ago because it broke and I had bought the best buy warranty along with it. I was given a recipt with a suspend transaction on it and -269.xx on it but nothing has posted to my account yet. How long does it normally take to get the money back?

If it was a suspended transaction then the transaction never went through. Were you supposed to go pick out a replacement? Or were they going to give you store credit? Generally speaking you do not get the money back on an account (like a debit/credit card) when you do a warranty claim. Best Buy just allows the funds to be used towards something different.

The transaction in question happened about 15 months ago so I know the transaction went through. If they canceled it though, wouldnt the funds go back into my account?
